Loet Vanderveen Sculpture Statue Signed, RARE 1970 Terra-cotta Statue Of Woman
Rare unique terra-cotta 1970's sculpture of a woman, signed LOET. It looks like its in great condition with minor age related wear, with a missing piece of her necklace by her neck (see last 2 pictures).
But at really close look through a jeweler eye it looks like the neck might have a repair?? Through the jewelers eye I can see a hairline crack around her neck head area so please zoom in on the pictures (see collage picture of 3)...
The sculpture is really sturdy and solid and weighs 4 pounds. It measures 14" in height, 6 1/2" deep and 4 wide. The picture of the brochure does NOT come with the statue. It's just documentation that he made this type of statue because he typically did animals, rarely people.
